Educycle’s launch and swap party!

You’re invited to help us celebrate the launch of educycle.com, the Bay Area’s first free online marketplace for teaching resources.

Educycle and Scrap SF are partnering up to introduce two great ways teachers can save money on supplies and prevent valuable resources from going to the landfill.

When: Sunday, September 23, 2012

Time: 3-6pm

Where: The Fontana Room @1050 North Point, San Francisco [Directions/map]

What: Join us for hors d’oeuvres, wine, music, special prizes and teacher goodie bags.  Please bring 4-5 gently used teaching items you would like to donate to another teacher. Every teacher will take something home!

  • Teachers: find out how to get free supplies for your classroom or sell your used teaching materials
  • Non-teachers: find out how to get involved and support the cause
  • Businesses: find out how to get rid of all those extra pens, notepads, index cards etc and support a great cause at the same time!

Please RSVP to wynne@educycle.com

This is an open invitation to all Bay Area teachers and their friends. Please feel free to share!

What if I can’t make it to the launch event?

Educycle, founded by Mary Loung, provides a free online marketplace where Bay Area educators can buy, sell, or donate educational resources.  It also provides a place where businesses can donate gently-used resources to local schools.  In this economy, every little bit helps!
